How do I stop Samsung from forcing their apps on my phone?

A

AC Question

A while ago I got myself a T-Mobile locked Samsung Galaxy J7 phone. I love this thing, however I noticed that Samsung has been pushing their apps on my phone without asking and without permission. I'll just randomly see a notification from Samsung Galaxy Apps that says "App Installed". Just recently, they forced Samsung Billing on my phone, except now I can't even find the app.

The worst part is that I can't uninstall these apps, not without rooting or whatever. How do I stop this from happening, and how do I get rid of the stuff they forced on me? Do I have to root in order to stop this? If so... how do I do it?

Yes indeed, bloatware is a pain in the butt.. You can disable some apps, force stop others, uninstall a few.. I have an adblocker that has a firewall that stops any app connecting to internet and that makes life more bearable...
