My Huawei P9 (version year 2016) is locked out. Forgot my password.

So i used the"recommended" ADM from desktop to sent a lock, it managed to do that, but the new password set at ADM, does not work. So its worst now than before, at least i could go in using fingerprint previously, after i restart my phone, now all passwords do not work ..what other alternative without hard reset....

You have to wait for 72 hours if you have changed the password

Did you get a solution for this problem.?
I forgot restart password and phone does not have the gmail reset on home screen.
I can log into my gmail account. Also did the Android device manager lock with new password but does not work.
Please help
