why am i not able to receive texts from 1 person?

This person was on the restricted list which I removed. we can call each other and he sees all of my texts but said he has replied 40 times to mine since Oct 4th and I have no texts showing on my phone from this person?

Welcome to Android Central! What restricted list are you referring to? Is it a phone feature or a carrier feature? If the latter, ask your carrier about the problem.
