I have a lg g3 beat that I would like to disable the camera sound. I have looked for a shutter sound option in the sounds setting of both the camera app and the actual phone settings. I have also rooted the phone so I've gone the method of changing the names of both camerashutter.ogg and cameraclick.ogg. That didn't work so I even tried deleting these files and that did not work either. If anyone knows of a method or way that I have overlooked of don't know it would be great of you could help me out.

Welcome to the forums. It's possible that the sound is locked down in the OS itself. There are countries where a silenced shutter sound is illegal.
