Whats up with my phone?

[AC Question]

So I have a LG G3 and its a recent replacement but everything has been smooth up until now where i was just texting and on the computer and all of a sudden my phone shuts off and wont power back on. So now after i let the battery sit for a second (nothing has touched the battery but me) and i place it back into the phone and try to power it on, but it wont and now the phones getting very very VERY hot even though the screen isn't on so can someone help me or try to interpret what the problem is because I'm very confused.
