Cannot remove "micro" SIM from S7 edge (should be nano), help?

So, i totally missed on the instructions that the S7 edge uses a nano sim card, meanwhile, i separated my sim only down to the micro sim size, and placed it on the sim tray, and inserted it into the top of the phone, per the instructions. the sim was sitting loosely on top, and not seated in the "nano" grove. In hindsight, this was silly, but i had never heard of a nano sim before, and it didn't appear as if the card could be further broken down to a small size.

Anyways, the micro sim went in sideways, which is practically the perfect width for the slot. I cannot remove it, and in my efforts to remove it with the included tool, ended up pushing it slightly further down.

What are my options? Get the phone taken apart? Take it into supplier and try to argue that their instructions were not super clear?

I'd take it to a repair shop before you wreck your beautiful and expensive device!
