%1$s Issue

[AC Question]

I keep getting a notice that says, "Unfortunately, %1$s requires one or more Google Play services that are not currently available."

Anyone know what this is and how I can fix the issue?

Maybe I can help. I work for AT&T and sometimes I see this.
Since it is a Samsung product, try to search for Google Play Services in your Application settings, and click uninstall. That will roll it back to default, then you will be forced to update again. I usually see this when the last update to Play Services gets interrupted.

I agree with krisguy, I've done it once, about a year ago with my Galaxy Tab 3 after an update and it worked.
Having said that, I haven't done it again since and I've never done it with any of my Samsung phones. So pay special attention when doing it if it doesn't give you the option to go back to original settings.

Welcome to Android Central! It would also help to know which version of Google Play Services you're running. I'm currently on 9.8.77.
