Battery won't charge past certain percentage

A few weeks ago I noticed my phone won't charge past around 85%.... the phone would just say "Done charging in 1 minute".

Last week it was 55%... now its at around 45%. It won't charge past that. Maybe one percent per hour after 45%.

Also, once my battery gets to around 20%... it just drops quickly. As in one or two percent a minute. I tried getting a new charger as someone said that would fix it but it isn't doing anything.

From the last paragraph, if it drops quickly it often means that the battery is dieing. I personally would just buy a new one, it is not worth the hassle to mess around with it.
