I can't download or instal files

My phone is an android 5.1 i rooted the phone so i could download cell tracker. I have the files and and have unzipped them but can't figure out how to go any further. Been working on this for 2 days. Please help

Welcome to Android Central! What kind of file is it, an apk? Is this an app you can install from Google Play Store?

You should have an .apk file after you decompressed the files. Using a file manager, navigate to the .apk file and click on it. (If you don't have unknown sources marked yet, a dialog box will pop up and prompt you to enable.) It should then go to the install/accept screen just like apps from the Google play store.
