help with fixing my exchange email on samsung galaxy note 4 since the marshmallow update

Since the update my exchange email account is not working properly. I can receive emails but I cannot send out new emails or reply to emails. It gives me a notification failed to send and it sits in my outbox. also my battery drains fast and will shut off at about 25% to 30% and the phone will try to come on then shuts off back and forth till I plug it in.

That depends, among other things, on how your Exchange server is set up. Since we can't see that (and it's illegal for us to access someone else's server anyway), unless someone here has experienced the same problem and fixed it, about your only option is to talk to the Exchange administrator at work.
