Why does my Motorola stops working after 2 minutes

[AC Question]

Yesterday my Motorola Moto G (1st gen) shutted down after it ran out of battery. When I had recharged it, I restarted my phone. Then I had to wait for like 15 minutes because my phone was restarting all the apps. Well this happens sometimes and it doesn't matter, but this time my phone worked for just 2 minutes and then it stops working. My touchscreen and buttons don't react and the screen turns in to black. The only thing I can do is press the unlock button and shut it off. Which is actually really weird because than the touchscreen and the phone does react. In those 2 minutes everything works fine and it doesn't look like anything is working different. So is there someone who could help me?

A poor battery connection? A faulty power switch? A failing battery?
