Why is Moto Z play not reading my Sandisk 32GB class 4 memory card?

The phone doesnt read the card, as in, it doesnt show the details of the storage capacity and stuff, but i can still listen to music. It is a problem because, i cant access the card via phonr. I have to literally take out the card from the tray and connect it to my laptop via a reader to put in new songs and edit the content. Please help! Is it a Marshmallow bug?

Could be time to upgrade. A 32g class 10 ultra SanDisk is $10 and change on Amazon.

Try SanDisk microSD Tech Support - the direct chat link is in the upper-right corner area of the page. If the card is under warranty, they'll replace it. (Copy everything to your PC, then when you get the replacement, copy it all to the replacement.) That's why I stick with SanDisk - they're very good if you run into a problem. (I've been buying their cards almost since they started making them and, aside from one card I broke in half, I've never had a problem with one.)
