s5 wont turn on with full batter

last week my galaxy s5 would start charging and then it would stop at like 10% and not turn on, saying i needed the original charger. then it stopped charging altogether and wouldnt turn on still. my brother just recently got an s5 and i tried to use his battery, which was full, to try to turn it on and it wouldnt. help

Press on the power button for 20+ seconds and see if it turns on.
