Can't install Android Marshmallow update on HTC One M8

[AC Question]

I've tried to install the update ever since it became available to the HTC One M8 but every time I try to install my phone just switches off. I have tried it with full charge so I doubt it is due to that and there is plenty of storage space. Am I just being an ***** or is something wrong?

Welcome to the forums. Which carrier do you have?The update may have had something go wrong with it, and you may have to flash it manually.

It's Vodafone, it is a British company if you're American and haven't heard of it.

If not, go to HTC site, and click support. Scroll down a little and you will see a sidebar for Quick Links. ROM downloads is in there. That should get you what you need. For me, they had ROMs arranged by carrier then model.

If not, go to HTC site, and click support. Scroll down a little and you will see a sidebar for Quick Links. ROM downloads is in there. That should get you what you need. For me, they had ROMs arranged by carrier then model.

The ROM downloads aren't available on the UK site unfortunately. Should I contact my carrier to see if they can provide it?
