Why is my nexus 5 looks like a dead phone all of sudden & please help me out:-(

Hi, my phone was working exceptionally well & its was morning & even the alarm rang, i turned off the alarm & kept it aside. After few hours when I went back to phone, its not displaying anything. looks like a phone switched off, It has around 80% charging even. i tried to switch it on using power button, plugging in the charger, connect to my PC, nothing worked out. If i connect to my PC, its not even showing as if something got connected. What should i do? am writing this after waiting for few hours for my phone to respond. kindly help me out

I restored my own Nexus 5 to life by long-pressing a combination of buttons. I cannot recall which buttons, but try different combinations.
