how long would 5GB last me

i planning in getting a 5GB plan and i was wondering how long it would last me and if i'm connected to the internet would that use my 5GB as well

It depends entirely on how you use your device. For some, 5gb would be ample, for others, not enough.

Yes, being connected to the Internet uses data. If however you connect via wifi, it will not use any of your mobile data allowance.

It's more than enough for me because I'm often near Wi-Fi (even without) but I don't usually stream or do fancy things over cellular.
