On my Nexus 7, Android version 6.0.1, 'Settings'->Sound & notification-> it tells me for 'Notification access', "Apps cannot read notifications".
Click that, and it says "no installed apps have requested notification access"
All my apps (eg gmail) display notifications, no problem.
I'm trying to write an android app that accesses the notification list, but if I try and enable NotificationMonitor access, I get the same message "no installed apps have requested notification access".
What is going on?
