I have my Always On feature on my Galaxy S7 set to "On" with a clock face chosen and no notifications. I like to use this for my bedside table at night. I have my screensaver set off. When I put my phone on the wireless charger I have to click the power button to turn off the screen, Thats OK, but then 30 seconds later or so the screen reverts back to the home screen. Eventually it times out and I do get the clock I set up on the Always On settings, but I would think when I click the power button the screen should stay off ( or rather stay in Always On mode)

They light up briefly when you connect them to a charger, then go to sleep... Set your screen timeout nice and short and just leave it do it's thing...
