Extremely washed out pictures on front camera LG v20

[AC Question]

I just switched from iPhone to Android last week. I went in the store thinking I was going to get the S7 Edge but ended up with the V20. They didn't have a display model in the store to play with, so I was just going by specs. But now I am testing the front camera and the pictures are very washed out, almost like it is a water color picture. I have the "beauty slider" turned all the way to 0 and they are still very muddy. Is this an issue with the V20 or did I perhaps get a defective unit?

Hi, it could be either - when are you taking the images, at night and in poor lighting? can you create an acc and upload some examples for us to see? it could be that the device is faulty,
