Old device still registered and syncing to google account

[AC Question]

I have just checked which devices are currently registered to my google account and was concerned to see that my old S7 is still linked the my google account and has been synced recently.

I have obviously now removed the device from my account. But my question is, how do you securely wipe all data from an android phone before selling?

I removed and signed out of my google account and 'zeroed' any unused memory and then performed a factory reset. I am looking at selling another phone, have I missed something?
