I have a Galaxy S5 and am attempting to expand my memory with a Samsung evo 32gb SD card. The phone works perfectly fine without the card, and the card works perfectly fine when inserted into my Galaxy Tab 4 as well as being able to use it on my PC without error. When i insert the SD card into the phone it will start into a boot loop on startup and I cannot enter recovery options. The very moment I pull the SD card of the phone it will boot as normal. I assumed that this was because the phone was trying to look for a boot file on the SD card for some reason and so i reformatted twice to FAT32, one quick format and one full format. When i can get the phone to boot normally while the SD card is inserted it does not recognize it even so much as to say its corrupt. I am at a loss. Thanks for any help!

The card is corrupt in some way. (It could even be a counterfeit 2GB card, programmed to say that it's 32GB.) Contact Samsung (sorry, no contact info, which is why I buy only SanDisk cards - they have live tech chat on their site) and see about getting it replaced.
