So I have a relatively good phone, just got it a month ago. Recently I've been noticing the battery drop significantly in that month last week so I went and checked my battery and saw everything else was below 15% while Mediaserver is at 42%, my question is how do I decrease it?

Welcome to the forums. What phone do you have? Usually mediaserver drains are caused by corrupted media files. Are you using an SD card? If so, unmount it temporarily and see if the problem persists.
