Why can I not connect to my apps on wifi with the new LG Fuel?

I do a program where you earn money from watching videos. I have 30 LG Fuel phones and they run terrific and last over a year so I am very happy with them. My problem is that the new ones that I just purchased won't let me connect to my apps via wifi. It says I have no internet service and I have removed the SIM cards. Any ideas on what I can do so I can run my programs on wifi?

Googling around I found a thread that suggested you check the date and time and make sure it is set correctly and fix it if it is not. This has solved the problem for some folks apparently.
