I bought a Samsung galaxy note 4 from my friend about a year ago because he got a new phone and I needed a backup. We factory reset the phone and I've had it packed away since. About 3 months ago my friend passed away in a car accident, and 3 days ago my iPhone broke. So I went to activate te note 4 but it said due to an abnormal factory reset I had to put in the original Samsung account. However, my friend is dead so I have no way to get the account info. I'm using my father's phone to do this right now. Can somebody please help me!?!?!?

Very sorry to hear about your loss. Unfortunately there's not much you can do without those Google/Samsung credentials. This is a security feature and can't be bypassed.

Sorry to hear about your friend. Unfortunately, without the Samsung account details, the phone can't be used. This is a security measure which if there was a workaround would defeat its purpose.
