Unable to add/change folders in samsung email

I've tried to add a folder to the Samsung email app that comes default on Samsung phones and I'm not able to. I've experimented more by trying to delete and rename and it says "failed to create/delete/rename folder." It only happens on this particular email account (live) but my other emails sync'd to this app it will work (live,gmail). This email has 6 folders already and the others have none. Why is it failing? Because I have a max number of folders? That wouldn't seem to make sense because I can't delete or rename either. Please help.
