Installation failed. How do I fix it?

I Read some articles and Following a method to Root my phone.
I downloded SuperSU ZIP from supersubeta.com Website.
Every time I try to install SuperSU's binaries it keeps saying installation failed.
How do I fix it?

Welcome to the forums. Are you installing the superuser file in recovery?

SuperSU is - as the site says - the super user access management tool - not rooting itself. The binary - su - has to be installed into either /system/bin or /system/xbin, both of which require root to access (sounds like a catch22, doesn't it?) So the app, Chainfire's app in this case, has to use some trick to temporarily get the phone to give it root privileges so it can root the phone (which is just installing su). The app can't be written to get temporary root on every single combination of phone/Android version, so make sure your combination is listed. Otherwise, the binary will never get installed, and the phone won't be rooted. (The SuperSU app itself doesn't give you root, it controls which apps get root access - from the su binary.)
