How to turn on spellcheck (NOT autocorrect or predictive text) using google keyboard on andriod?

I have a samsung galaxy s5 on which I'm trying to find a way to get spell check without auto-correct, predictive text, or having the write in seperate app, and copy and paste it back into my text box.. I was told that downloading the google keyboard would allow me to turn off autocorrect and predictive text on my phone without turning off spell check. That there would be a red line beneath misspelled words but would leave it up to me to correct it or not. I downloaded the keyboard changed the setting accordingly, but not matter what I do, it's not spellchecking the words I'm purposely misspelling. Can someone give wither updated instructions or information as to how to get a keyboard with spellcheck?

You will have to look on appstore. Most of the better apps including SwiftKey do not have a spellcheck
