how do i add videos/movies to my micro sd card

so i bought my wife a 128 gb micro sd card to use in her lg stylo and the phone reads the card fine and my computer reads the phone correctly, but im not sure how to add videos or movies (mp4, avi files) to the card and then be able to play them on the phone, can anyone help me out please?

When you connect the phone to the computer, does it show the SD card? If so, just drag and drop your movies to the SD card.
