Why is my samsung galaxy s4 screen bleeding?

Yesterday as I was coming back from school , my phone slipped out of my hand and landed face flat on the ground. My screen smashed and the screen is bleeding all of the phone so I can't see anything. I can only turn it on and off. I have tried reseting it and nothing has changed.

And maybe some internal parts that broke in the fall. It should go into a repair shop for an estimate.
