The S5 works, as in it can turn on, but the screen is dead, so I have no way of knowning if I am clicking on things correctly, or even properly unlocking it. The sound doesn't seem to be working either, or defaulting to a muted state, so I can't use that as an indicator as well.
I got a new S7, but the S5 doesn't have the usb connection part enabled in settings, so I need a way to transfer my files from the old to new phone that doesn't require anything being done on the old phone. I was hoping I could connect it to a computer and just transfer them but it doesnt seem to be an option.
Also side note, I had an SD card with a ton of apps, which is now in my S7 (the phone is reading the card when I look at device storage), but none of the apps are on my S7. Is there anything I need to do to activate them somehow?
