I have 4Gbs of internal storage on my phone, 2Gbs of which is available. When I look at the storage it says 2 gb is empty but when I look at the apps, it says 200Mb empty in internal storage. So it saves only 1gb of that 4gb for apps.
I want to expand the storage that is reserved only for app and app data. I have 2gbs of internal memory available, which I don't use.
I have already moved most of the apps to SD card, if you're gonna give me that as a suggestion.
So basically I want to reserve 1gb more for apps because I don't use the internal storage at all. How can I do this?
    Thank you

You can't. The other partitioned areas are reserved for the minimum size needed by the OS to work. You really shouldn't buy anything with less than 8GB of storage, and that's already pushing it.

About the only way to do that is to get an SD card large enough for your needs, then root the phone and install External 2 Internal SD (Root). The card will mount as internal storage and the eMMC storage (what you now have mounted as internal) will mount as external storage.
