I need to disable some of my apps in android 6...kindly assist

I need to disable some of my apps specifically whatsappp and telegram, without uninstalling so that i appear offline all the time.This should be for a period of one week..thankyou

Not a problem proceed this way: Open settings >>Applications
>>Tap "Applications manager" >>Locate the 2-Apps and Tap
each of them >>Tap again its [Disable] button & return
to Home screen-Next restart phone: Did works out.?

Welcome to Android Central! Only preinstalled or system apps can be Disabled. Apps you install have to be uninstalled. You could try using Greenify to hibernate the app, though.
