My Samsung Note Edge hits about 50% battery then repeatedly restarts.

This issue started with my phone shutting down at about 35% battery so I ordered a replacement. After charging the replacement I had not improvement of the problem. Now the phone will get to about 55% or below and I'll try to open an app, send a text, or do anything on the phone and I will reboot over and over again. I have to remove the battery in order to get it to stop doing that and typically I have to charge the phone with the power off to about 75% to get it to work again. The phone is about two years old and I have had the issue for several months. I've had similar problems with Samsungs when they get over a year old, don't think I'll be buying this brand again. Any thoughts?
