Can't make/receive calls when network mode is LTE/CDMA - Samsung S7

A

AC Question

Bought a Samsung S7 SM-G930P in Vietnam a few weeks ago. I'm now back home (Norway) with my norwegian SIM-card. When I enter my phone company's APN to access 4G/LTE network and switch the network mode to LTE/CDMA, I'm no longer able to make or receive calls. But I can receive and send SMS.

When I switch network mode to automatic I'm able to make and receive calls, but now the phone stays in a GSM network which is suuuuper slow for data usage. So it seems I have to choose between making calls or use 4G data. There must be a way to do both?? It is a Sprint phone, commonly sold in the US.

Hope you can help!

It says that 4G was 0%, as we use 800 Mhz, 1800 Mhz and 2600 Mhz in Norway. But the little sign over the coverage area says LTE when I use data, and it's fast enough as well, but I just can't receive calls when it is used. We use GSM, not CDMA in Norway. Does that mean that I can't use LTE as network mode if I want to receive calls, no mather what I do?
