How do I get rid of "Unfortunately YouTube has stopped" popup

A

AC Question

I don't have YouTube installed on my phone, but I keep getting notifications that it has stopped. What do I have to disable or uninstall to stop this?

I'll be trying to dial a number and I have to keep clearing notifications about an app that isn't even installed on my phone.

Youtube is a google app now, most of the time it is a system app. (Can't uninstall without root.) When in app manager on the All tab, there is no youtube app? I might be wrong, but my thinking is that you uninstalled updates, but the original app is still there. In app manager, if it is there you should be able to disable it. Then reboot.

I have this problem on my android phone. The 'Unfortunately, YouTube has stopped.' message keeps popping up over and over again. I keep hitting 'OK' and it goes away for a second and them pops back up. I can't get into the settings to clear anything and I've tried turning it off and on again. Nothing is working. What should I do?
