Problem with youtube app casting automatically to other neighbours devices over the wifi network

I live in a building where all the tenants are connected to the same local wifi. recently i noticed that i am getting a notification that i am casting to unknown device owned by one of the neighbours. my wife also gets the same on her phone. our tablets too. probably a tv. this is very annoying as it drains my battery and lets strangers know what i am watching. i fear that my data is also vulnerable. is there a way to stop that? i appreciate any help

You should be able to disable casting in the Youtube app. (And if they're Samsung devices, look in Settings - you may have that enabled in Settings/Connections/Screen mirroring.)
