not charging and turning on

would you help me what is the problem of my phone and my phone is samsung j7 prime, my phone is not charging and turning on but theres a red spot on it, i wonder if the charging port is the problem. pls...help me

Welcome to the forums. Did you let the charge go really low before recharging? If so, the phone may need more time on the charger before a start can happen. Plug it in and wait for about an hour before attempting to boot the phone.
