New Moto z won't smoothly stream music- unusable.

Went to Ford dealer today. They updated Ford sync to newest update (it already had it but they reran it). Moto z still can't play more than 3-4 seconds without continuous breakup. My previous phone, droid Maxx worked fine. I asked them to bring out a new car, 2016 focus, mine is a2014 fiesta. My phone worked great in the new car. Ford tech threw his hands in the air, said hopefully a new update will come soon. Any thoughts/help?
