Galaxy S7 does not fit into Gear VR

Got a Galaxy S7 for xmas with the Gear VR. I connect my galaxy S7 to Gear VR but it does not lock in place. My galaxy S7 too small.

This took me a while to figure out but the USB connector on the headset has a little catch marked A or B you need to press it down and slide it to either A or B. Your S7 should then fit in to the headset and clip down properly. Hope that helps, if not let me know and I'll post a pic.

It would be nice if you could post a pic. I've tried what you suggested & the galaxy s7 doesn't remain in place securely. Be nice to see how this is suppose to fit.
