How can i get google apps working on Chinese samsung C7?

Im unable to download apps from google play, recieve mails on gmail app and sync contacts from google.

It won't work with Chinese firmware as Google is banned in China. Flashing with Hong Kong firmware will allow access to Google

Sure, you will need to download Odin to flash the firmware when you have put your device into download mode. You can get the latest firmware here https://samsung-firmware.org/model/SM-C7000/

I followed the steps provided in the links but my phone won't boot up. It is stuck at the boot screen after i flashed it with the firmware .md5 file. I used odin 3.09 version and had installed samsung usb drivers as well. Laptop reboot was also done after USB device driver installation.
I dont think i missed any of the points here but it still won't boot up. What do you think could be the issue ? I am going to try and see what are the options other than booting with Stock firmware as of now. Thanks a lot for the help earlier!

Hmm strange! Try Samsung Smart Switch emergency firmware recovery to get it back to stock and try again
