S7 edge USB mode won't work as audio source

I've tried debugging and changing the USB settings in both the drop down menu on the main phone screen where it says charging and under the developer settings with no luck. Every time I change the USB mode on the phone it beeps like it does when you first plug the USB in then changes back to charge only. Again no matter what mode I set the USB to the phone changes it back to charging 1 second later. I've tried multiple USB cables that have data and even quick charge support no luck I tried in two different cars same exact issue can't get phone to come up as audio source.

Plug the phone into a computer that's running the Samsung driver (Samsung Download Center) and see if you can change that to MTP. (Without seeing the driver, the phone only sees something on the charging pin, so it assumes that you're trying to charge it.)
