Can't set up domain email on Samsung S3 phone.

[AC Question]

When I try to add the information for my domain email for both incoming and outgoing mail, I get an error message saying 'Setup could not be finished' and 'Authentication failed.'

I've tried secured and unsecured and various port numbers. I've double checked my password and even changed it. I'm stumped.

What carrier?
Which email app?

Thanks for your response and your questions. I didn't know what information to provide. In any case, I found an article which said that updates from some time ago prevent setting up new accounts using the default email app. So, I downloaded K-9 Mail and everything is working!
