Why do I experience crazy battery drain? I am not a heavy user

I have this weird battery drain problem on the Galaxy S5 and it just doesn't seem to be solved. I tried deleting cache date, wiping factory reset , now I even installed Cyanogen mod 14 to see if it will fix anything. Still, no results. Please I don't want to flash a custom kernel for this process as I think there has to be an easier way for this. Millions of S5's have been sold. Anyone know what could cause this RIDICULOUS battery drain? Not using the phone at all the battery drains from 100-0 in 2 hours. Pathetic. Please help me!

Welcome to the forums. Can you show the screenshot of the battery stats, that include the list of the top used apps?

Did you recently update or flash CM?

Here. I actually am charging my phone all the time. Because I know it will die in less than 2 hours when I use it no matter what if I unplug it. Yes, 2 days ago I installed CM

Any Idea????

Sorry about the delay.

A couple things may be at work here. I always have had bad battery life for a couple days after flashing a new ROM. The kernel is doing a lot of communicating with the OS, your phone is still undergoing an initial setup similar to how you first got a new phone (in this case, there is little difference), so that may be some of the issue. You should start to see better battery life soon though.

When you flashed CM, did you do a reset?
