I recently bought a new car and was introduced to Android Auto.
The car is compatible as I double checked the Android Auto site.
The issue seems to be with my phone. Whenever I try to get it going, the phone seems to recognize that I'm in the car as android auto automatically launches. However, I'm not getting it on my car screen.
When I try launching the gps I get a message:
Attention
The connected device is unable to access data on this device. Reconnect the USB cable and try again.
Android file transfer or Samsung smart switch must be installed on Mac OS X devices.
I tried running developer mode and debugging the USB. Nothing. I also tried with the original Samsung phone cord and am still getting the same message.
Anyone have any advice? I have no idea what to do next.
