    Hello. Not usually in that space of time.

    By damaged do you mean it's failing or losing capacity?

    If a battery is physically failing it can start to bulge, and that's not good - it can be dangerous.

    If it's removable lie it on a flat surface and spin (the battery).

    There are countless ways to address and isolate temporary high battery drain issues, and that would start with registering on this site and posting screenshots of the battery usage data, and checking sync settings.

    Welcome to Android Central! I would also say that batteries (like any other component) can be defective, so yes, it's certainly possible for a battery to start malfunctioning within 4 months.

    Can you give us more details as to why you think your battery is damaged?

    More info is needed. Like both replies above, there can be several factors to bad / worsening battery performance. Anywhere from a failing battery, firmware issues, syncing issues, rogue app, and several other factors.

    Also define 'normal charging'. Normal charging patterns or were you referring to normal charging as opposed to fast charging?
