Phone Issues (Battery)

[AC Question]

My G5 has been running great, except for a few issues. I usually keep it in power saving mode throughout the day, as i don't use it and it stays in my pocket. In this way, the battery seldom drains at all. I also keep sync, bluetooth, and Wi-Fi off. However, every once in a while I will feel intense heat in my pocket and see that the battery has dropped tremendously. What could be causing this, and how can I solve this issue?

Check the battery stats when it does that to see what is running.
