Why is the stock google search bar quicker than the Zooper Widget one or the Nova launcher One?

The stock search bar responds very quickly whereas the zooper widget one is very slow and laggy. Any solutions to make the zooper one quicker and to make that it does not open the app to search something?

What phone do you have? I don't have Zooper but the Nova one is very fast on my phone.
