cell phones movies to tv (special circumstances)

I am in a cabin in some remote mountains for a couple weeks. I have:

1 samsung galaxy s7 with many movies
1 wife's galaxy s7
a chromecast
a non-smart tv with hdmi in

i have no internet except very spotty cell service. I can run into town (radio shack or kmart) to get any cable or device needed. How can i play my movies on my TV?

Note: i tried setting my wife's phone as router. didnt work as reception is so spotty.
