I have just switched from a Note4 to an S7. I run my business using Instagram, and really loved the Hot Keys feature on the Note4, as it allowed me to substitute a number key for a large amount of text. I do not see this same feature on the S7. I've seen that others are mentioning using keyboards that aren't stock. I'm not quite sure what that means. Would those keyboards be apps? I need the Shortcuts to hold enough characters for multiple hashtags. Any help would be appreciated.

The stock keyboard refers to the one that came with the device. Others are apps you download from Play Store, such as GBoard by Google, and Swiftkey (owned by Microsoft). These are the two most popular and arguably best keyboards on the Play Store. However I don't think either has the feature you seek. I know some other keyboards have this though.
