My HTC desire 626G dual sim does not turn on.

I was using my phone, then a messaged poped out that said something like "an error occured in Battery application" and the phone turned off. I turned it on again, and it worked. I continued using the phone. Then I went to sleep when it had about 4% battery charge left. When I woke up the next day, the phone is dead (because it had about 4% left 9 hours ago). I plugged the phone in the wall outlet to charge it, the red lamp is on, nothing unusual. But when I try to turn it on now, it just doesn't. I tried to get into recovery mode, and it just doesn't even get into recovery mode. The red lamp is on while charging but the phone seems to not be charging. When I try to turn it on, the display just turns into a different shade of black, and it's dead. I've been trying to charge it for 10 minute and it still doesn't work.
